7-Song Music Album “Lady of Pavement” Released on Radio Ear Recordings

Recently I released a new album through Radio Ear Recordings called “Lady of Pavement” featuring 7 songs (1 cover; 6 originals).


The songs have a jazz underbelly, with unique voice and guitar stylings over the top.

I’d say the key vocal influencers were: Tom Waits, David Sylvian, Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen.

Matthew Hundley currently works in marketing for a large non-profit ministry in Saint Louis, MO. He is originally from Waterloo, IA; and has lived in Boulder, Denver, Boston, Madison, Dayton and Cedar Rapids. He graduated from Cedar Falls High School. Studied jazz guitar and recording production at Berklee College of Music. Earned a BS in Broadcast Production and Management from the Journalism School at the University of Colorado Boulder. Also earned a BA in Critical Film Studies from the Film School at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He later earned a Masters of Theology from Covenant Seminary in Saint Louis, MO. Out of college Hundley worked for KGAN (Guy Gannett, CBS) in Cedar Rapids, IA; then moved on to WDTN (Hearst-Argyle, ABC) in Dayton, OH; and later was Marketing Manager at KWWL (Raycom, NBC) in Waterloo, IA. He also was a manager overseeing web and creative services at ME&V ad agency. He has taught courses in E-Business, Marketing and Film at Wartburg College (Waverly, IA) and Lindenwood University (Saint Charles, MO).
